Village Italy - 2014

We are Bill and Dianne Juffernbruch and we love traveling in Europe.  Over the past few years we’ve traveled in Europe fifteen times.  On the first seven trips we used Rick Steves' travel guides and the last eight trips we joined his guided tours.  Village Italy was amazing and ranks as one of the best.

 

In our Village Italy Trip we traveled to - Padua, Ravenna, Montone, Assisi, Deruta, Orvieto, Chianciano, La Pietriccia, San Leonine, Volterra, Vinci, Lucca, Cinque Terre and Orta.

 

There were so many interesting experiences including Basilica of St. Anthony, Scrovegni Chapel, Byzantine San Vitale Basilica, Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, Piazza St. Chiara, Le Velette Winery, Ceramiche Gialletti, Orvieto Duomo, local markets, Piazza Repubblica, Piazza del Duomo, Florence American WWII Cemetery, Nottolini Aqueduct, Carrara Marble Quarry, Cinque Terre and Lago d’ Orta.
